Depending on the package you have chosen, and the amount of time you really want to devote to it, you should allow minimum 4 or 5 hours per week.

You’ll receive 1x module each week/fortnight (depends on the program chosen), which includes videos and worksheets, and this usually takes 1-2 hours to complete. Then, you’ll need to allow time to work on your business plan and financials.

If you have chosen the fast track mentoring package, this will include a series of planned personal mentoring sessions for your business.

Obviously, the more time you dedicate to this lender readiness process, the greater the results will be.

The ABDI Member Portal has been optimised for people with poor internet speeds. For example, the platform is hosted on a server based in Brisbane, rather than other sites that might be based in the United States or somewhere overseas.

You also have the ability to dial in via your phone to the member only webinar sessions, and your group coaching sessions. This means all
you need is a phone connection rather than good internet.

Worst case, we know previous program participants download their materials when in town (all areas of service) and self complete when at home (saving on their computer hard drive for later use and/or updating).

The Program provides a well-rounded education on foundational business principles and becoming lender ready. These concepts are all based on the ABDI 12x Pillars of Business Best Practice. We make sure everyone has the foundations right and also deal with advanced
concepts all owners and managers will benefit from.  It’s also interactive – meaning you get to ask your questions – either in the group or
1:1.

The major difference is that the Personal Workshop Package includes an initial two day workshop session. These personal sessions quickly build on the relationships emerging in the group (between you and participants and also between you and the two ABDI specialist
deliverers). Our experience is that the self-accountability acquired to support building your lender ready documents and provide a sounding
board for any business decisions you need to make, will remain effective using the online system, as long as you remain focused and
disciplined. As a result, you’ll be able to make considerable progress in a short amount of time whichever of the program options you use.

You’ll also get access to ABDI’s Member Portal, where you’ll be able to record your progress, commitments, actions and generally stay accountable with/to yourself. This may include other members of your business who are involved in the program also – or have a stake in its success.

If you are really looking to fast-track your business growth journey, fortnightly or even weekly sessions are also available (at additional cost, but discounted for program participants).

Our team have varied backgrounds, with a strong focus on business management, and all have run their own businesses.

This means they have experience in the issues you face.

They are specifically skilled in working with clients to access money – whether from conventional lenders (banks), or from high net worth
individuals and other investors.

Others in the Program are generally business owners, managers, and entrepreneurs across a range of agricultural sectors. They generally have a particular mindset, looking at opportunities rather than problems, and are keen to freely share their thoughts.

Also they want to be challenged with outside-the-square thinking, recognising that their way of looking at life may need to be challenged or is non-serving.

Very minimal. While we recognise that production and business are interlinked, we focus on the business side of things. In general, many in agriculture are comfortable in managing the production side of the business, however are often uncomfortable and are looking for support on managing the business. It is also an area where significant gains in profitability, and peace of mind, can be made.

An understanding of business best practice is increasingly critical when seeking funds from both conventional lenders and investor sources.
